Calmoseptine Ointment provides a physical moisture barrier to help heal skin from moisture or caustic drainage. This ointment acts as a counter-irritant, and temporarily relieves discomfort and itching from rashes, eczema, insect bites, and contact dermatitis such as poison ivy, oak and sumac. Menthol has been shown to cause vasodilation which may increase circulation to an area and aid in the healing process. A mild antiseptic is used to help prevent secondary bacterial and fungal infections of the skin.

Directions:
Cleanse skin gently with mild skin cleanser.
Pat dry or allow to air dry.
Apply a thin layer of Calmoseptine Ointment to reddened or irritated skin 2-4 times daily, or after each incontinent episode or diaper change to promote comfort and long lasting protection.
