The Ross Glucerna Nutrional Supplement is a reduced carbohydrate, modified fat, fiber-containing formula, designed to enhance blood glucose response in people with abnormal glucose tolerance when used as a nutritional component of therapy in patients prone to elevated blood glucose levels. Provides only 34.3% of total calories as carbohydrate. Unique fat blend, rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, provides the majority of the nonprotein calories. Formulation includes soy fiber to help maintain normal bowel function. For patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus or with abnormal glucose tolerence resulting from metabolic stress, such as ilness, trauma, and infection. Lactose- and gluten-free. For tube feeding. 237 calories per 8oz. Vanilla.
