The Posey Lateral Wedges are lightweight and provide both positioning support and comfort. Wedges can be easily placed in position unlike foam pillows and it is possible to turn the patient without assistance by using the Wedges. The Lateral Wedges are ideal for keeping-bed ridden patients repositioned, eliminating pressure points over the bony prominences and reducing the incidence of pressure ulcers.

The unique construction of an outer vinyl mesh, breathable fabric shell and a Non-absorbent, polystyrene bead fill allows air to flow through the wedge, eliminating the discomfort of conventional foam pillows, which build up heat. All the Wedges feature a zippered closure, enabling beads to be added or removed for patient accommodation. Machine washable. One per package.

Each lateral wedge features a zippered closure to allow the addition or removal of beads, as it may be desirable to change the amount of fill to better accommodate certain clients.
